Specialty engineering - In Systems Engineering, Specialty Engineering includes the engineering domains that are not typical of the main engineering effort. Hardware engineering, software engineering, and human factors engineering may be used as major elements in a majority of systems engineering efforts and therefore are not viewed as "special".
Broadcast engineering - Broadcast engineering is the field of electrical engineering, and now to some extent computer engineering, which deals with radio and television broadcasting. Audio engineering and RF engineering are also essential parts of broadcast engineering, being their own subsets of electrical engineering.
Thermal science - Thermal science is the combined study of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. This umbrella-subject is typically designed for non-engineering students and functions to provide a general introduction to each of three core heat-related subjects.
Thermodynamic free energy - In thermodynamics, the term thermodynamic free energy is a measure of the amount of mechanical (or other) work that can be extracted from a system, and is helpful in engineering applications. It is a linear combination of the energy and the entropy of a system, yielding a thermodynamic state function which represents the "useful energy".
Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer - Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer The mission of the THT Division is to provide excellence in thermal science and engineering; to train mechanical engineers in thermal science and engineering; and to train future leaders of thermal science and the engineering community.
Thermodynamics of Aqueous Electrolyte Solutions - Thermodynamics of Aqueous Electrolyte Solutions Phase diagrams of binary, ternary and quaternary aqueous solutions of salts are shown. The basic thermodynamics related to these phase diagrams is explained. The application of a thermodynamic model to calculate phase diagrams and perform process simulati

Submissions welcome. www.moreelectricians.com Turbo - In terms of internal-combustion, most often Turbo is short for turbine supercharger. It comprises of a turbine to extract exhaust gas energy from an internal combustion engine and using this energy spin a compressor to compress the air input to the engine, thus increasing the air flow into the engine i. Recuperator - A recuperator is a heat exchanger that helps boost the efficiency of some gas turbine engines. In such an engine, air is compressed, burned with fuel, and used to drive a ...
Human Factor - ... Metal Church, released in 1991 (see 1991 in music). The Human Factor (episode) - "The Human Factor" is an episode of the original The Outer Limits television show. It first aired on 11 November, 1963, during the first season. Human Factors in Systems Engineering by Alphonse Chapanis, Human Factors in Systems Engineering shows how to integrate human factors into the design of tools, machines, human factor and systems so that they match human abilities human factor and limitations. Unlike virtually all other books on human factors, which leave the implementation of general guidelines ...
